Managing with purpose

Management is a collection of leadership, training and guidance skills, harnessing and promoting others to specific goals and targets. Managing with purpose requires intelligent use of human resources and of organizational capital and assets, all based on a comprehension of the essence of the manager`s role, vision and values. Once these are understood and firmly established, a well-defined work plan is constructed to facilitate the desired managerial goals and behavior.


Managing with responsibility

Managers are the most senior figures for their employees and as such are inherently “unequal” in comparison. While a manager may interact with subordinates in a friendly fashion, having seniority in the organizational hierarchy requires taking sole responsibility for the people further down the ladder, for their functioning, their productivity and their sense of wellbeing within the organization.




Managing with an aim to produce high self-efficacy

The belief of one`s own capabilities that will bring him to his desired result. A person with a strong self- belief evaluates his ability to handle with success complex tasks. The absence of self-efficacy will weaken one’s motivation and diminish any belief in the ability to positively influence one’s own success and functionality. Managers must continually strive to promote their employees’ sense of self-efficacy, while they are equipped with persistent faith in their capacity to make a difference.


The management theory of the IM method, as well as the accompanying management tools, are those that create an organizational infrastructure for performance improvement. One should approach any managerial action and organizational process to do with human resources based on these principles
